How to Choose a Digital Marketing Course in Delhi: 8 Questions to Ask Before You Pay

Search for a digital marketing course in Delhi and you will find hundreds of options, from short recorded courses to long classroom programmes. Most of them promise the same things. So how do you pick one that will actually teach you the work?

I have been on both sides of this. In 2023 I joined a digital marketing programme myself, then worked at a Delhi agency as an SEO intern and later as an SEO Executive. Today I also run my own course, so yes, I am biased. That is why I am keeping these questions general: ask them about any course you are considering, including mine.

1. Is it live, or recorded videos?

Recorded videos are cheap and flexible, but almost nobody finishes them, and you cannot ask a video a question. Live classes cost more and need you to show up, but you get your doubts answered while you are stuck, not three days later. Decide honestly which one you will actually complete.

2. How many students are in one batch?

A batch of 60 and a batch of 10 are completely different experiences. In a big batch the trainer talks and you listen. In a small batch the trainer can look at your keyword plan, your ad, your design, and tell you what is wrong with it. Ask for the real number, not “limited seats”.

3. Who actually teaches, and do they do this work?

Digital marketing changes every few months. A trainer who runs campaigns and websites for real clients will teach you what works now; someone who only teaches will often teach what worked years ago. Ask who takes the classes, then check their LinkedIn and any real client work they can show you.

4. Will you practise on real things?

You do not learn SEO by reading about SEO. Ask what you will actually build during the course: a keyword plan, an optimised page, a live ad campaign, a set of creatives, a content calendar. At the end you should have work you can show to an employer or a client.

5. Does the syllabus match how marketing works today?

Businesses rarely hire someone who knows only one tool. Look for a course that connects the pieces: content, design, social media, SEO, Google and Meta ads, and tracking, so you know which ad brought which lead. If conversion tracking or the Meta Pixel is not in the syllabus, that is a gap.

6. Are the fee and payment terms clear?

You should know the full fee before the first class, whether you can pay in instalments, and what happens if you have to stop midway. Get these answers clearly, ideally in writing. A trainer who is vague about money now will be vague about other things later.

7. What exactly do they promise after the course?

Be careful with “100% placement” or a fixed salary promise. Nobody can guarantee what an employer will decide. What a good course can honestly give you is real skills, practice, a certificate and work you can show. Your effort decides the rest.

8. Can you attend a demo class first?

This is the simplest test of all. Sit in one real class before you pay. You will know within an hour whether the trainer explains clearly, whether you can follow the language, and whether the class is practical or just slides.

A quick checklist

  • Live classes, with doubts answered in class
  • A small batch, with a real number
  • A trainer who does the work, with proof
  • Practical projects you can show
  • Tracking and ads in the syllabus, not just theory
  • Clear fees and payment terms
  • Honest promises, no guaranteed jobs
  • A demo class before you pay

Where to start

Online live classes are worth considering even if you live in Delhi: you skip the travel, and you still get a real trainer and real interaction. If you would like to see how I teach, my live online digital marketing course runs in Hindi and English with a maximum of 10 students per batch, and you can book a free demo class before deciding anything.
