A lot of people stay away from digital marketing because they think it needs perfect English. It does not. The buttons inside Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and Canva are in English, but the thinking behind them (who is your customer, what will make them click, why did this ad fail) is much easier to understand in the language you think in.
That is why I teach in Hindi and English together. Concepts get explained in Hindi, and the technical words stay in English, because those are the words you will see on screen and use at work.
Why learning in Hindi actually helps
- You understand the “why”, not just the “how”. Clicking the right buttons is easy. Knowing why an ad is not working is the real skill, and that is easier to grasp in your own language.
- You ask more questions. People hesitate to ask doubts when they are worried about their English. In Hindi, they just ask.
- The English terms come naturally. Words like CTR, CPC, ROAS and keyword become familiar because you use them every class.
The roadmap: what to learn, in what order
Step 1: Content writing
Every ad, post and web page starts with words. Learn to write a clear headline, a hook and a call to action. Practise: rewrite the captions of three brands you follow and make them clearer.
Step 2: Design in Canva
You do not need to be a designer. Learn contrast, alignment and a simple brand style. Practise: design a week of posts for an imaginary shop.
Step 3: Social media marketing
Learn content pillars, reels, posting rhythm and how to read your insights. Practise: run a small page on one topic for a month and track what works.
Step 4: SEO
Learn keyword research, on-page SEO and how Google decides what to show. Practise: pick one local business and write down ten keywords its customers would search for.
Step 5: Google and Meta ads
This is where businesses spend money, so it is also where they pay for skill. Learn objectives, targeting, budgets, creatives and conversion tracking with the Pixel. Practise: build campaign structures before you spend; when you do run a small test, track every result.
Step 6: Amazon (if you like e-commerce)
Listings, Amazon SEO and Sponsored Ads. Useful if you want to work with sellers or sell your own products.
How much time does it take?
Consistency matters more than long hours. In my batches we do three live classes a week, one hour each, and the course runs for 8 to 10 weeks. Add some practice time between classes and you will move much faster than by binge-watching videos.
Mistakes to avoid
- Only watching, never doing. If you have not built anything, you have not learned it yet.
- Learning tools, not thinking. Tools change; understanding customers does not.
- Skipping tracking. Without tracking you cannot prove your work, and proof is what gets you hired.
- Trying everything at once. Follow an order like the one above.
Want to learn it live, in Hindi?
My live online digital marketing course follows exactly this roadmap, in Hindi and English, with a maximum of 10 students per batch so I can check everyone’s work. You can book a free demo class first and decide after that. If you are still comparing options, these 8 questions to ask before you pay will help.
